This workshop introduces groups to the differences between toxic and responsible charity. This training is a 1 ½ hour experience that invites one to consider why our traditional models of helping are not working and to envision a new model for moving forward in a healthier way.

Service Description
Our class meets weekly at 5:30 p.m. Those providing the meal should plan for 15-20 participants (if this is different you will be notified). We ask that the dinner be there by 5:15pm, but if this is not possible please let us know and we can work out something else. Dinner does not need to be expensive, but it is nice to offer some healthy options (veggies and fruits). This is something that many in instability may not have the funds to eat on a regular basis. We will provide all paper products, ice and drinks.
Meeting place appreciates the donation on Aug. 30th of a nice meal for the GA students to enjoy during class. Hot meals are appreciated.
